Artist Margaret Coen (1909-1993) was best known as a water colourist and flower painter. Her daughter (author Meg Stewart) recently donated a selection of Margaret's works to NERAM which includes paintings, watercolours, paintings on fabric and wonderful sketchbooks. Coen's Circle reveals the breadth of her work and the development of her style from traditionalist to a greater freedom in her use of colour and line.
